We all know that the most effective foods for our weight loss plans are lean meats, whole grains and healthy fats. These would be the foods that give people protein and energy. They help our bodies stay balanced without infusing a bunch of calories that we will have to work extra hard to burn off at the gym. Are you aware, however, that some of the foods you've been thinking are good for your diet plan could actually be making you retain weight? They may be trying to keep you from losing weight altogether! Here are a few of the foods which may be undermining your diet efforts.

Sports Drinks tend not to truly help you. You've probably been told that if you wish to help your body rejuvenate itself after a work out, you should drink a sports drink.
